Krakow: an unusual cross-shaped brightness in the sky before dawn, 5 December 1269

Fritz 1873, from Martin Cromer's history of Poland: 'Ungewoehnlicher Glanz in Kreuzform am Himmel in der Fruehe vor Tag', an unusual cross-shaped glow in the sky early before day, at Krakow and surroundings, 5 December 1269 (12 December in the modern calendar). Fritz brackets it as uncertain. It falls a year after the proposed 1268 radiocarbon rise, so the timing is wrong for a cause, but it is another dated sky glow in the 1260s cluster: 1261 (China), 1262 (China, Salzburg), 1269 (Krakow).
