Red vapour in the west, Korea, 19 December 1268

Goryeosa volume 53, red omens: '九年十一月辛酉,赤氣見于西方', Wonjong year 9, month 11, day xin-you, which our converter puts on 19 December 1268 (lunar day 14, so near full Moon). A red glow, the strong kind of aurora candidate. It falls inside the timing window for the 1268 to 1269 radiocarbon jump (about August 1268 to mid 1269). It is listed in the Wang et al. 2021 Korean catalogue (entry 111, same date), so it is published; but Miyahara et al. 2022 cite only the white band of 15 February 1269, so it is a second witness their paper did not use.
