Greenland-only sulfate around 1262: a northern eruption whose haze stayed low

Guillet et al. 2023 list a Northern Hemisphere extratropical eruption around 1262, found in Greenland ice only, and judge from eclipse colours and tree rings that its aerosol stayed mostly in the lower atmosphere with little effect on climate. A low haze can still redden sunsets and twilights.
