Clue from people AD 1053 Korean

Two white vapours rose from the northwest and pierced the Sun, Korea, 27 January 1053

Goryeosa volume 54, white omens: '七年正月丙午,有白氣二條,從西北起,貫日,其一竟天', Munjong year 7, month 1, day bing-wu, which our converter puts on 27 January 1053. 'Piercing the Sun' means it was seen in daylight; this standard phrase usually describes a halo display (ice crystals), not an aurora. Six weeks after the Chinese white vapour of 13 December 1052, but probably a different kind of thing.
