Mozi (about 400 BC): under King Jie 'sun and moon were out of time, cold and heat came mixed, the five grains scorched and died'

Mozi, Fei gong xia: 逮至乎夏王桀,天有誥命,日月不時,寒暑雜至,五穀焦死,鬼呼國,鶴鳴十夕餘. The oldest dated-by-author text here that remembers bad weather at the Xia's end; no year. Other early texts with no year: Guoyu, 'the Yi and Luo dried up and the Xia fell'; Lushi Chunqiu (239 BC), after Tang's victory 'a great drought, five years without a harvest', ended by Tang's prayer at Sanglin (the source of the current text's drought in Tang years 19-24). The ancient-text fragments of the Annals say only 'in Jie's last year the altar of the soil cracked'.
