Checked whether Europe could see the 1054 supernova

Computed the star's height at dawn in July 1054 for China, the Near East and Europe (nearly the same), showed the Japanese '4th month' date is impossible (star beside the Sun) while the 5th month fits, and compared Europe's record of the three medieval supernovae. Visibility is not the answer; record keeping is. A full comet base rate (Hasegawa 1980) could not be downloaded.
