Tree-ring radiocarbon jump between the 1052 and 1053 rings (English oak STK-C10)

From the PANGAEA data behind Brehm et al. 2021, computed ring by ring: 1049 -9.0, 1050 -7.5, 1051 -8.6, 1052 -10.6, 1053 -4.8, 1054 -3.6, 1055 -2.9, 1056 -4.9, 1057 -8.0 permil (errors about 1.1 to 1.7). The jump is 5.8 permil between the 1052 ring and the 1053 ring, matching the paper's 5.9 plus or minus 1.1. This is the only tree in that dataset covering these years. A particle event in December 1052 would put its carbon-14 into the 1053 growing season, exactly where this step sits. The signal is small and unconfirmed by beryllium-10 or chlorine-36.
