Started the myths track: tested sky-fall myths against young craters
Found a public-domain copy of Berezkin's world motif catalogue with map coordinates, built a list of 15 impact sites young enough to have been seen, and tested whether stories of falling rocks, a fallen sky or a world fire cluster near them. They do not. The rare 'rocks fall from the sky' motif turned out to be the Chinese Nuwa story, with no crater anywhere near. The country-by-country shuffle caught a false signal that a simple count would have reported.
