Rakowski et al. 2026. English oak from Kujawy, rings 1042 to 1062. Average for 1042 to 1052 is -11.0 permil; 1053 is -6.9; 1055 is -2.6. A rise of 8.4 plus or minus 2.6 permil. The authors say the rise 'likely began before 1054' and so is unlikely to be the 1054 supernova. A second tree whose first elevated ring is 1053.
