Mystery Half solved 1207 BC

Did Joshua's 'Sun stand still' at Gibeon remember a solar eclipse?

Joshua 10:12-13: 'Sun, stand still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Aijalon ... So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven.' Humphreys and Waddington (2017) read the verb as 'be dark' and match it to the annular eclipse of 30 October 1207 BC, just after the Merneptah Stele (about 1208 BC) first names Israel. Khalisi (2021) prefers the total eclipse of 30 September 1131 BC.
